Who are you? What do you do?
My name is Galaxy. I work with my partner (and sister) Karma. She gets magical premonitions that lead us to the people who need our help. Often times it is a dangerous assignment.
What is your greatest fear?
Not being able to help my latest person in need. Usually, the stakes aren’t as high. But this time, if I can’t help them it can lead to dire consequences on the world. I can’t let that happen.
What's the worst thing that's happened in your life? What did you learn from it?
I lost the love of all of my lifetimes. By the way, I’m a vampire, but let’s keep that between us. I learned that there is nothing like being touched by love. I learned that if I ever have it again, I’d do anything and everything to keep it.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My maker. She fell prey to a curse, and I lost her.
When and where were you happiest?
In the time when I shared love with my maker. However recently I have begun to feel that happiness again when I caught sight of a young woman with dark hair that works in a diner named Clair.
What is your most treasured possession?
My memories of my maker.
What do you most value in your friends?
Honesty and loyalty. My sister Karma is both. Someone I trusted took everything from me. So, what I am saying is outside of Karma, I don’t have many that I call friends.
Tell me about your best friend. How did you meet? What do you like about this person? What do you think they like about you?
My maker was my best friend. We crossed paths a long time ago. We had an instant connection. What she loved about me was the same as I still love about her. Whenever we were together, we were the most at home within our own skin. Although I was living when we met, she made me feel alive. I felt a warmth as if the sun lived within me. Now without her, I feel a void and coldness. My inside feels as if I have an inner eclipse. Like that feeling, you get on a cool day when a building cast a shadow upon you. It is a feeling where everything else is in the light except you. That’s how I feel now. I miss and ache for her. Pardon me, I apologize. I got a bit darker than intended.
What's the worst thing you've ever done to someone? Why?
(Laughs) If I tell you that, I know that you will beg me to compel you to forget. Let’s just say I’ve done a few things that are best unspoken. In my defense, they were all necessary to help people. (Snickers Charmingly)
What is your ideal world?
Before Clair, I would have said a world where I am reunited with my love. For years I wrestled with dreams of my maker. There were many mornings that when I first woke up my world was beautiful, but then the truth of reality hit me. She’s not here with me any longer. She is gone. But having seen Clair, my heart hopes for love again. Maybe I will have a love like that again, that would be a world I’d want to live in. That would be perfect. Just don’t tell Karma. She would never let me live it down. Plus with all that is going on, I cannot afford to lose sight of what needs to be done. The weight of the world is literally on my shoulders.
